St. Lucie County and the City of Fort Pierce are partnering with the Florida Department of Health in St. Lucie County to offer COVID-19 vaccines for those over the age of 65 and health care workers with direct patient contact by appointment only on Monday, Jan. 25 through Wednesday, Jan. 28 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Fenn Center.

Those who have already signed up on the Health Department’s waitlist will have priority registration for this event and will be contacted through EventBrite to sign up. Because of the more than 30,000 individuals already on the waitlist, officials expect all the appointments for this event to be taken.

Public health officials ask residents wanting the vaccine to be patient, as demand for the shot is high. As more shipments arrive more clinics and distribution sites will be announced.
